No Official Status Confirmation
This site does not run an official warrant search, certify whether a warrant exists, state that a person is wanted, confirm that a warrant is executable, or guarantee that a public page is complete. New Mexico Courts Case Lookup is a public case index with access limits. The Lea County detainee roster is a custody snapshot, not a warrant roster.
Use the Right Custodian
The court that issued a warrant controls its court status, recall, withdrawal, bond, appearance, and other procedure. The Sheriff or police agency may execute or return process and may hold a separate agency record. A municipal court holds city cases. LCDC handles custody questions. Federal warrants use federal courts, PACER, and federal agencies.
Do not send a district-court request to the County Clerk, a municipal case to the Sheriff, or a state question to a federal office. IPRA exceptions, juvenile limits, sealed records, redactions, and court-access rules still apply. Do not scrape or republish person-level records.
Resolution and Payment Warning
Do not pay a caller who claims that a warrant can be removed by phone. Lea County’s January 2026 public-safety alert says law enforcement will not call to announce a warrant, request personal or financial information, or demand payment by phone. Navigate to the official court or county page yourself.
Payment, proof, bond, a motion, an appearance, and recall are different steps. Ask the issuing court what applies and keep written confirmation. No names, photographs, mugshots, or live roster rows are republished here. NMCD supervision listings are not a Lea County Sheriff active-warrant list.
